Chesterfield u14 netball squad played Wespa Fire from wirral in a friendly game at chesterfield on Tuesday 1/11.
Fire are all elite athletes who displayed fantastic netball play and knowledge of the game, showcasing their club to the next level!! Chesterfield girls showed great camaraderie and team spirit and all agreed that it was a great learning curve with lots of tips acquired on the night. The last training session for all juniors is on 27/06/2016 finishing at 8pm.
We have entered both our U13 and U15 Teams in the “Winwood Fight for Life Tournament” On 02/07/016 at Holy Family High School, Virgins Lane, Thornton. Please ensure your daughter has plenty of water, suitable kit, a packed Lunch and £3.00 fee for the day. We all need to arrive no later than 8.45am, and juniors should finish around 2pm. Please do try and come along to support the girls and the great cause!!! Sessions will re-commence for season 2016/2017 on Monday 12th September in Chesterfield Sports Hall. Times of sessions to be confirmed. Fees will remain £3.00 for training and £2.00 for Junior League games. Affiliations will need to be paid in September and are:-

We are looking to expand awareness of the ability for young netballers currently in Years 7 – 10 to register for trials for the North West Netball Academies? This is the starting point of the England Netball Performance Pathway. The applicants don’t need to be the best players but they do need to be committed to improving the standard of netball they play. The closing dates for application is 31st May 2016. Applications should be made by individual athletes via the North West Netball website - http://www.netballnorthwest.org.uk/performance.html If you could encourage your young athletes to apply we can strengthen the Merseyside Academy.
